AdWords campaigns are notorious for being hard to control in the first month due to several reasons:

  • Quality Scores can jump up and down
  • You have no historic data to base decisions on
  • You don’t have a performance baseline
  • You need to establish a sweet spot for bidding and ad positions

The first month of optimization therefore includes other guidelines that you need to follow. To sum up my post on, we’ve created an infographic checklist of the timeline as well as the tasks to develop along the way.
